Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases are life-altering illnesses, which remain largely unrecognized in Texas.  Many doctors insist, “There is no Lyme in Texas”, and patients lack the necessary information to prevent it and seek proper diagnosis and treatment in the presence of symptoms.

The Texas Lyme Disease Association has prepared a comprehensive brochure to introduce Texas residents to the prevalence and perils of Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses in our state.

We encourage you to study this brochure, print it for future reference, and forward it to your family, friends, neighbors, schools, and health care professionals.
